You Know when you jump on a race that’s only 12 miles long and you think it’s going to be quite easy to complete in the 50 minutes before the 2nd race of the night, then you see its also got 1600 feet of climbing and panic sets in? That was me on the start line thinking I’d totally messed up the scheduling for tonight and I wasn’t going to finish this in time! And I’d organized it!!! 🤦‍♂️ So with that in the back of my mind, 22 of us set off at ten past the hour for this really good route.

“feelslikemonday” won this with a time of 0:35:21.8, with “Simon_Hahnenbruch” half a second behind for the silver. Must have been a very interesting sprint to the finish for those two. “PatrykS_Gdynia_PL” came over the line 50 seconds later to complete a rapid trio of riders in the top three places.

A little later on, 4th and 5th came over the line with just 0.3 seconds between them! The Belgium, and, Muckers worldwide rider, “Andy_UP“, came over the line first, just getting the better of “Enea022“. Andy is just getting back to full fitness and won’t be long till he gets the team a podium! 🤞

6th came “yvon86” just a few seconds behind those two above, then “Hechel78” just 20 seconds later in 7th. Little gap then to “jordannic” in 8th with “Daniello752” in 9th and the final mention goes to muckers races regular “rouvy1bryon” in a strong 10th with a time of 0:43:45.8.

So at least the top 10 came in under the 50 minutes time I’d set, but who else? Everyone up to and including 18th got it done in time, leaving 3 riders outside the time zone. I apologize to those 3 if the were planning on doing the 2nd race, and I will try harder next time to give a bit more wiggle room for everyone between races.
