Etape Loch Ness Cyclist Raises Funds for Macmillan Cancer Support
Etape Loch Ness is a cycling event held annually in the Scottish Highlands. It’s a challenging 66-mile route that takes cyclists through stunning scenery and steep climbs. But for one participant, Roger Jones, the event is more than just a personal challenge. He’s using the opportunity to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, a UK-based charity that provides vital services and support for people living with cancer.
Rogers’ fundraising efforts have been remarkable. His JustGiving page has already raised a significant amount of money, thanks to the support of friends, family, and strangers alike. He’s been training hard for the event, which takes place on April 23, 2023, and is determined to complete the route to the best of his ability.
It’s important to note that Macmillan Cancer Support relies heavily on donations from individuals to fund their services. The charity provides practical, emotional, and financial support to those affected by cancer, from the moment of diagnosis to treatment and beyond. The money raised by Roger and others like him will go a long way in helping the charity continue its important work.
If you’d like to support Roger in his fundraising efforts, you can visit his JustGiving page using the link provided. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. And for Roger, knowing that he’s making a positive impact will no doubt give him the motivation to complete the grueling 66-mile route of Etape Loch Ness.
