So the top 20 has filled up nicely now due to the amount of racers we had on this one tonight. Strangely, tonight’s top 10 finishers didn’t take part in the first race last week so it was a good week for those that have completed the 2 events so far, but the the table is very close and with 2 events left, anyone can win it still! So just a special mention to “rouvy1byron“, “Mucker1974“, “Ivan02“, “cdtchris” and “fazzo34” who are 2 for 2. cheers,

co-founder of muckersworldwide.com and race organizer! Been into cycling since a kid and spent most of the time on BMX and mountain bikes. Took me longer than most to get the road cycling bug but I was bitten around 5 years ago when I finally got a fully fledged road bike that fitted and I let the flat handled road bike go...

I was hoping for another good race here and what a struggle for 12th!! raced with “swisschris69” again and just picked my spot to out sprint him so i didn’t come 13th. The fact that no one from the top 10 in tonight’s race did round 1, helped me claim 2nd overall in the championship but i don’t think that will last long!

The strategy from the first race worked well. So why not try again. I made it from the start straight into the first group. But the guys there were too strong. I couldn’t keep up the pace. So I let them go. A quick check of the list on the left screen shows: Directly behind me is a well-known companion from the first race… “Svard”. I let him close up and we rode together for the rest of the race. “SwissChris69” and “Mucker1974” were pushing hard from behind. But together we were able to keep the gap about the same and save it for the finish. In the end, “Svard” had more power and won our internal fight. But that was fully ok!

    Thanks for organising, Neil!

And thanks to the community. Really cool here 😉 It’s my first season of virtual cycling/Rouvy and I didn’t expect it to be so much fun!

I am also first season indoor virtual cycling Michael. I thought it would be a lonely sweaty experience listening to my favourite music from the 70s – I was very wrong – suddenly I have massive motivation to work hard alongside (virtually) team members and other riders I am now familiar with. I am currently riding solo on holiday just wishing a Mucker would be around the next corner to share the work.

it is weird how quickly you start to recognize all the names and how they ride as well isn’t it! Have a great holiday and enjoy every moment as you’ll be home before you know it, and it will all just be a memory!

  4. Dok_PS says:

I couldn‘t make the first race and I had little luck at the start of the second race, as my Internet connection broke just with the „go“. I was able to resume the race but at position 21. It was difficult to catch up in the beginning but the climb then helped me. So I luckily made it into the Top 10 again. The group of riders was definitely a very good one and I‘m looking forward to the next battle. I‘m definitely off on Sunday (the long climb would work for me) to save energy for the real Frankfurt Eschborn Gran Fondo race on Monday. Have fun!

  5. Chris says:

Both rides made a good combination. Good choice Neil.

  6. Andy_UP says:

I could stay with Tuden for 12 minutes. I had to let him go but still had some power left to not loose to much places. Probably because I had fresh legs and the ones chasing me did the first race.
