HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU CHECK YOUR ROUVY ZONES?
Quick blog on your Zones for training on Rouvy.
First thing is how to find them!! Once you’ve logged in and gone to your home screen, you have the cog icon at the top right corner. You will know you are at the right place as when you hover over it you get 4 options: 1-Account settings, 2-Profile settings, 3-Cloud, 4-Zones
Click on zones and you are there! First section is heart rate zones. If you know what your max heart rate is, then set it in the manual section and make sure that box is selected, or if you don’t, select the estimated Max heart rate.
The power one is next if you scroll down. This is the one you should have set to estimated as this is what ROUVY has worked out you are running at. If you are more into this type of data, and you are doing FTP tests on a regular bases, then manually enter it if you think its wrong.
once you set and save your options here, it will update all your other pages on ROUVY that show this information. It will not update anywhere else, so its always good to check what your strava says as well when you do this so both figures match.
We would suggest checking this every few weeks. Just so you can see if ROUVY have decided to adjust it, or as I’ve found out in the past, after an update, it’s changed them or reverted back to some default.
If you are interested in your training, and being as up to date as possible with your figures, and also when you do the muckers “Race within a race..erm..race!” you know you’ve performed exactly as you should have.
That’s it, no more, doesn’t have to be a massive blog and we hope you’ve found it informative and helpful.
