Muckers 8pm Tuesday Race Night. 07/03/23

Rouvy Route Used: Challenge Puerto Varas | Chile 30km | 18.6 miles | 898 ft climbing

Route 1 from the TRI Season KICK OFF | MEDIUM challenge

31 registered | 20 finishers | 2 dnf | 9 dns

11 riders from the first race popped over to Chile for the second race and were met by 11 fresh riders to take on this 18 miler with nearly 900ft of climbing race.

1st over the line, to make it 2 wins in 2, was “feelslikemonday“, the Spaniard having a great night tonight with 2 very strong performances. “adampel” claimed 2nd 30 seconds later with his team mate “hinsbergen” coming over the line to claim 3rd 26 seconds later. definitly a little bit more spread out than the first race, but well done to these 3 who got top 3 in the first race, but 2nd and 3rd switching positions in this one!

4th again came “PatrykS_Gdynia_PL” with a very unusual night without a podium! 5th and in no mans land, came “robbiedoo” who was over a minute behind 4th, but also just under 2 minutes in front of Muckersworldwide rider “Andy_UP” who claimed 6th place for the team. We are still on our consecutive top 10 places on the weekly races for the year streak! well done.

7th place goes to “wurstrolle_81” who just pipped 8th place “denny44” over the line! “Roberto03” came 9th with “mgk1971” coming over the line to take 10th.

Well done to everyone who completed the race, and especially to those who did the 2 races tonight. Thanks for your continued support.

cheers

14th place and finished well under an hour which was my main goal. I always get dropped on the hills so worked on keeping my speed just above my average on the flats and put in the efforts on the hills to try and keep a decent speed. it worked and I even started to catch Otero up near the end but he was just too far out of reach for a proper effort. Enjoyed that.
