The 2nd attempt at a championship event covering all the routes in a challenge Kicked off with a nice 9.5 mile flat route and if you’d just done the first race of the night just before this one, you were quite happy it was at least a flat one!
So is this championship going to be won by the Canadians?? The top 2 places seemed to reflect this and what a great start for “MikeHagen” getting the win with a superb 25.45MPH average! Strong result but will he be able to keep it up for the next 3 races as well? “rouvy1bryon” came home just under 30 seconds behind and this guy is a strong rider so I don’t see Mike having it all his own way at all. 3rd place “uffzynda” is also a very strong rider and Top Muckers worldwide rider in this race as well! came home within a minute of the leader so very much in the title battle.
2 Muckers Worldwide UK riders next with “jeff65” taking the 4th place, Pulling “Mucker1974” over the last 3 miles or so to help him to a nice 5th place. 6th and in a little bit of no mans land came “Ivan02” , then we had a Muckers Worldwide race for 7th with “cdtchris” getting the better of “fazzo34” but this was fazzos first ride back for a number of months so it was just great to see him back in the races again!
only 8 finished so a decent amount of points for all 8 now in the bag.
Race 2 will be here before you know it, link below if you’ve not registered. 25/4 @ 19:50 (UK)

A Nice 5th place in the bag already! I tried so hard to stay on the wheels of the first bunch but it was wayyyyy to fast so i ended up riding really strong with SwissChris69, swapping the lead roles and pulling away from Jeff in 6th. We got to nearly 0.2 miles ( am i the only who feels the gap is so much better/bigger when it finally hits the “0.19+” figures rather than the feet??”) in front of Jeff and all was going well till Chris just stopped! i was hoping and praying he just glitched and was gonna jump back on a t some point but he didn’t. So i’m now left on my own with the much stronger Jeff closing in! I think i might have cried a little bit…. but he soon caught me and i jumped onto his wheel and then we came home together. glad i got some decent points in and lets see how the 2nd race goes.
All theses Muckers in the Top 10, I am really delighted, great effort folks!
After the race in Brazil in 3rd place, I “hopped” onto the track again in Rouvy’s “Easy Riding” mode and confused the stragglers of the race 😂. Sometimes I was in front of them, then disappeared, then in front of them again – like a ghost … in this mode you can change the position with the mouse pointer as you like. In return, the ride does not officially count for races or challenges. But it didn’t matter, I was already through with the race for a long time 😀
What a nice pair ! Was pretty much exhausted after the first race, and I don’t normally have enough energy for the second one, so I decided to take it a bit easier. I soon started catching up the Muckers Worldwide regulars, and decided to try and chase Neil down, which I achieved with 3 miles to go, was pretty much done in,and if Neil would have kicked, I don’t think I would have crossed the line in front of him. Lovely flat route, stunning scenery, pleased to have completed both races.
deffo didn’t have a kick in me mate! well done.
Thanks Neil Rushby for organising the race nights / week end rides and also for writing up a report for us all to read. Really enjoying getting back on Rouvy and seeing all the lads putting the effort in. Keep up the good work
Cheers Fazzo. Keep up the training mucker and you’ll start to get stronger with every ride!
