no real updates, still not 100% happy with the categories so they might not make it into next years championship, which by the way starts in February next year (so we get January off, yes i will still have challenge routes scheduled, just not part of any championship or blogs!)

ROUVY ROUTE USED:
GWA Colombia | Stage 4 – San Vicente | 11.35 mi | 1,194 ft
EXTRA TIME SLOTS REPORTS:
2LATE4ME: 5 finishers! and a top 3 with decent stats! Well done to “Guthinger-Mike” for the win, “Jettro” for the silver and “TJEastwood” with the bronze!
2EARLY4ME: Only 1 solo rider finished this version, so well done to “lotto1” for his perseverance to do this solo!
RISE&RIDE: This time slot is getting popular with 10 riders finishing this! “Hans.Holm.Moeller” gets Gold here, “BMC1” gets the silver and “philvet” the Bronze. how was the stats you ask?? All 3 very good! Thanks for asking…..
EARLY-ON: 10 riders, or 9. yep we have our first ROUVY glitch with 9 riders showing as finished, then 1 rider at the bottom of the list with a finish time but no placing or not even classified as a dnf. When this happens, it usually means the results will take ages to finalize! Anyway, the top 3 come over the line with “tranberg” getting the win, “HelmSyerforest” getting 2nd and Muckers Team Rider “SwissChris69” getting 3rd.
LATER-ON: gets the most racers with 13 jumping on this version! “Salva13” wins this one with “BikesbyMike” getting 2nd and “mloxey” 3rd who was the only one of these 3 with decent stats. Thanks for keeping it real Mucker!
MAIN RACE REPORT:
182 registered. Just finishing listening to Inside Cycling Worlds You Tube coverage whilst doing this blog and it looked like another great race, shame yet again about Carlo turning up again and claiming the win though. Please Carlo, if you read this, pleaseeeeeee stop joining the Muckers Races. Not one person thinks you are legit nowadays and you are ruining your reputation. You mess about so you don’t get a DNF then win! Why? just go and race your own VP or something as we are obviously not giving you the competition you need and its just getting old now.
So tonight’s main race 1st mention goes “Alieno79” who tried his best to hang on to the guy mentioned above, then comes 2 big hitters with “BareRemi” just in front of “Gil.Mad.io” who we will call the top 3, although they are listed 2nd to 4th.
we next have a race for 5th between 5 riders with the order over the line being “FlyingSkywalker”, “Badeskum”, “ErlendSundstrom”, “karel_sousek” then in 9th comes Czech pro rider ” daniel_turek” who made a special appearance tonight to race with us. Thank you for coming along! Rounding out the top 10 comes regular strong hitter “hinsbergen”.
11th comes “przemokrk” just in front of “Dibs2” then 2 seconds later comes a trio sprint won by “JJRobinson” in 13th, “Stefan793” in 14th and “NikolajBugge” in 15th. Next comes the current top 2 in the world championship with “lrollin” getting the better of “Stefan_Schmidt” in 17th.
“timoknerr” gets 18th, “millony” gets 19th and the last mention in tonights main race goes to French rider “stephane-martin” in 20th place.
Well done to everyone who finished. We really hope you had a great race!
FINAL CHAMPIONSHIP STANDINGS FOR NOVEMBER: (top 200)
Well done to Alieno79 who actually gets his first monthly win of the year but now has an extra 1.5% of ballast for the last month. BareRemi gets the silver (and an extra 1% ballast) and in 3rd pace comes Gil.Mad.io who also adds to his ballast tally. Please pop over to the World Championship blog to see how this has effected the standings (and what you need to do to in the last month!)
co-founder of muckersworldwide.com and race organizer! Been into cycling since a kid and spent most of the time on BMX and mountain bikes. Took me longer than most to get the road cycling bug but I was bitten around 5 years ago when I finally got a fully fledged road bike that fitted and I let the flat handled road bike go...
Great race for me yesterday in spite of not feeling too keen to start with. But I felt pretty good once we got going; always nice when that happens! Hung with the lead pack the first 5 km; even got a glimpse of Daniel_Turek. The first big climb separated us into groups, as expected, and by the top I was with peta.stancik, Dok_PS, Brampaulussen, and m-forby. Bruno_Kos got on with us over the middle rollers. Onto the second climb, and, nope, I couldn’t stick. Spent most of the climb maxed out unsuccessfully trying to stay ahead of Grochang, who lit a rocket up the hill. Still with him at the top, but his surge with a few hundred meters to go was too much. Four good races for me this month, and only 18th? These Mucker races are so competitive! Kudos to Neil and Kyle. You guys have truly grown a monster.
Special race because i invited conti pro rider Daniel Turek to provide us ground truth for performance. Punchy route, only too short for my diesel engine. Strong start and leading group of 30 as expected. First climb, i stayed in second group as diesel was heating up. Dan was in leading group and got back to our group help us catch leaders. With massive effort on basic Rouvy frame and wheels he pulled us back to leading group, it was great to experience that.
Second climb and similar scenario. I performed well especially at the end of climb, sitting just behind Dan. Gilmad and Baremi and fake rider(s) were ahead, so no battle for podium this time, but never mind, i enjoyed it a lot! Thank you all who joined us.
