Keegan Swenson Claims 6th Leadville 100 Title in Thrilling Sprint Finish 🏔️👑

The legendary Life Time Leadville Trail 100 MTB delivered absolute high-altitude drama this past weekend on August 15th! Over 102 brutal miles across the Colorado Rockies, Keegan Swenson cemented his status as the undisputed king of high-altitude dirt racing, capturing his sixth consecutive Leadville 100 crown with a blistering time of 5:20:26.

Unlike previous solo runaway victories, this year’s revised course produced a nail-biting tactical battle. New Zealand’s Matthew Wilson pushed Swenson all the way to the iconic red carpet finish in downtown Leadville, forcing a flat-out sprint after five hours of lung-busting racing at 10,000 feet. Bradyn Lange rounded out the elite men’s podium in third.

In the Elite Women’s race, Melisa Rollins pulled off an extraordinary ride to claim her second career Leadville title in 5:58:43. After suffering a heavy crash in the opening miles, Rollins mounted a ferocious comeback through the Columbine climb to solo across the line ahead of Cecily Decker and Lauren Stephens. Huge respect to every rider who tackled the Colorado thin air!

Vuelta a España 2026: Pogačar Hunts the Triple Crown in Monaco 🇪🇸🔥

The final Grand Tour of the season is almost upon us! The 81st edition of La Vuelta a España rolls out from the glitz and glamour of Monaco on Saturday, August 22nd, kicking off 21 stages and 3,275 kilometers of grueling Spanish racing.

All eyes will be on Tadej Pogačar as he returns to La Vuelta for the first time since his breakthrough Grand Tour podium in 2019. The Slovenian phenomenon is on a historic quest to complete the mythical Grand Tour Triple Crown. Standing in his way will be a stacked general classification field featuring Primož Roglič, Enric Mas, and young climbers like Oscar Onley and Felix Gall.

With six summit finishes, two individual time trials, and relentless ramps across the Asturias and Pyrenees, expect nothing less than total fireworks over the next three weeks.

Gravel Tech 2026: 50mm Rubber & Micro-Suspension Go Mainstream 🚲🔧

The evolution of gravel racing gear continues at breakneck speed. This season has marked the definitive transition of 50mm+ tire clearance and integrated micro-suspension from niche experiments into mainstream race-winning setups.

Riders at Leadville and top gravel endurance events are taking advantage of wider rims, dedicated 1x wireless electronic drivetrains, and real-time tire pressure telemetry to balance high-speed rolling efficiency with brutal vibration damping over rough washboard trails. If your gravel rig still maxes out at 40mm, 2026 is officially making the case for broader rubber!
