We did a little 14 miler nice and easy warm up race before this one which I think I was the only one who took it nice and easy 😂. It was all nice and chilled out at first but someone had to break and go for the win and others followed. But as it was titled “nice and easy”, I can’t exactly do a race report on that as it wasn’t a race…. sorry “Andy-UP“
So, to this hill climb. 12 on the start line which meant 2 won’t get a mention on here 😉 Set off and it looked like one rider didn’t get going, so now we have 11 fighting for the win and the top 10! I knew which one I was focusing on….
“isaak836” came over the finish line first to take the gold with a time of 52 minutes and 8 seconds. Only 52 seconds behind was “bismo” in 2nd place. I do wonder if that was the order all the way up? 3rd was “benjipix” with “ironmike89” not too far behind him and with a time under the hour mark. Top 4 showing how this route can be done under the hour mark. Well done!
5th was “uffzynda” with “Dimitrii” about a minute further down the road in 6th. 7th was “gyroman” followed by the rapid cadencing “jsyang” in 8th who came past me doing what looked like 150rpm!
Surprisingly (as in better than expected) , I (“Mucker1974“)came over the line in 9th. I had pressure from behind and thought for a long while I was going to be the 11th placed rider, but we had another retirement half way up which promoted me up a place and that just left “Andy-UP” in 10th and less of a worry for me once we’d both got past the retired rider as even if Andy did catch me, I was guaranteed a top 10 now😆
Quite a few new names on here which tends to happen at these weekend events so please let us know in the comments how your races went from your perspective is possible? I will message them all through Rouvy chat so hopefully they pop on and comment.
PS we still got muckersworldwide riders in the top 10 ( Me and Andy_UP ) so our roll continues! we’ve not been out of the top 10 yet this year!

Hi all, it was a lot of fun and the first ride in these series for me. So I am one of the “new names”. I started a few seconds too late and then noticed that my Garmin computer was still charging in another room, so I had to jump off the bike, get the Garmin Edge and run back to my bike 🙂 I was at last place by that time I think (10th). I had a nice fight with “gyroman” in the beginning and a tough one with Dmitrii later on. All well done, congratulations!
