HERE WE GO!! QUICK INTRO:
25TH OCTOBER UPDATE: From Next year the 19:30 (UK) version is going to be removed so we can get onto the blog and points sorting an hour earlier on a Thursday Night. So this means the 18:30 (UK) version will be the last race. We’ve also tried to work out how to help those who might struggle to make the Thursday Race as well so we’ve come up with the idea of re introducing the 19:30 version on the Wednesday instead. A kind of Bonus day you can jump onto if you think the Thursday isn’t going to work for you. However, we don’t want the Wednesday to take all the riders away from the Thursday main race, so with that in Mind, we are making this race “Non-draft”. So yes, you now have a different day to set a time, but its only because you can’t make the Thursday, not instead of. Why are we telling you now? Because we are bringing it in now so it will start for the November championship this year. both 19:30 races will run in November and December, then the Thursday one will be removed for 2026.
Here is where you will find month by month updates to the Muckers Worldwide World Championship for 2025.
We started in February and it runs to December, 11 months but it’s your best 10 month scores that will count at the end of the year. So if you’ve been that good and consistent that you end up in the top 50 for all 11 months, we will delete your worse one. This goes for everyone who actually gets into the the top 50 each month. If you didn’t, then you already got a 0 for that month anyway so no more deductions will be applied to your score.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remember that if you actually get 1 point in a world championship, that’s more than the majority ever get! You were top 50 after a month of racing, which sometimes has over 300 riders taking part!
The ballast in brackets is just there as i use this spread sheet to keep a record of it that’s all and is also a great way to see how much the rider will have the next month!
Any questions, please read the separate blog on our website that has all the rules and regs. for the monthly and world championships.

FEBRUARY TOP 50!
439 riders joined in this month but 126 of these got disqualified from the championship! So that leaves 313 riders with points, but it also means 263 riders not getting a point here this month.

LEADERBOARD AFTER MAYS CHAMPIONSHIP:

Because of the best 10 scores from 11 months rule is in place this year, it’s been tricky to pick which leaderboard to show. Do i show the one where every months points are added together, or do i actually remove the worst score from those that have scored points in all 4 months so far? 23 riders have scored every month and if they continue to do this and i just keep adding them up, they will be hit with a deduction right at the end of the year and that seems wrong. So the table below has taken the worst score from those 23 riders out of the totals so this is a true representation of where they are….BUT… with a set of points in the bag ready to be thrown in if they ever fail to score in an upcoming Month. (yes their bag of bonus points might change every month depending on how they score in the next months, but the “bag” will always hold the smallest amount of points!)
last example, just incase you still don’t fully understand me: VeloBuch was top of the charts last month with 138. his points had been 40/49/49 in the first three months. This month he scored 36 so because he’s scored every month, we’ve removed that one and made it his “spare” points. So this is why his points total hasn’t changed at all. And if your points total hasn’t changed, this will be the same example for you. BareRemi scored his lowest in the first month with a 30 points score, so now that’s been put away as his spare, his other 3 months have been superb with scores of 48/50/48, but the first month he misses, that 30 will be put back in. And lastly, the highest placed riders in the top 10 with no spare points are nielsbrynnum and nelsonsnyder. The rest all have something in the bag.
The riders in bold are the ones with spare points

LEADERBOARD AFTER JUNE CHAMPIONSHIP:

Are we nearly there yet? kinda half way now and its nice and close at the top but BareRemi has just increased his cushion at the top by 1 points compared to last month. lots of movement and 5 new entries into the top 50, but remember, there’s actually another 50 riders who have scored world championship points just outside this leaderboard so you are all the top half of a very exclusive group of rider!

TOP 50 LEADERBOARD AFTER JULYS CHAMPIONSHIP!

Massive drop down the leaderboard after a no-show from BareRemi! This means that he’s now used his blank month chip, so now all his points have to added together, even if he has another poor month. There’s still 13 riders who have scored world championship points every month so they still have there lowest score being removed at the moment which shows some great consistency.
So VeloBuch takes over at the top now, with Karel 2nd and Hans 3rd. All very close but all 3 of these guys have one quite low score each that’s been blanked out at the moment, and 1 slip will really see them drop as lrollin and m-forby both have been more consistent in the points meaning the lowest points they are currently using the chip on, is actually higher than those above! It really is anyones still and lots to come in the next 5 months, especially as more ballast is added so those high top 10 places in the month get harder and harder to be part of!

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP AFTER AUGUST POINTS ADDED:

Another consistent month from VeloBuch gives him an increase of 1 point over 2nd place, which is now jointly held by 2 very strong riders. This moths top 3 had 2 riders who aren’t featured in the top 10 so best placed rider was BareRemi who still scored a superb 2nd place which allowed him to close up to the top 3. But another large amount of ballast might just slow this progress down…. Might!
Its so close this year at the top but also to just get in and stay in this top 50! When you realize there’s 112 riders that have been in the top 50 over the last 7 months to be listed anywhere below is an amazing achievement. Lets see how next month shapes up.

TOP 50 PLACINGS AFTER SEPTEMBERS TOP 50 ADDED:
Strong month for both BareRemi and karel_sousek and only 10th place for VeloBuch see’s a mix up in the top placings! Only 1 world championship point separating them, but both the top 2 acquired a lot more ballast than 3rd place so can the hold him off another Month???
We are now entering the last 3 months of the championship and we have a lot of strong riders returning so they will soon be jumping up this leaderboard as well, especially for those who aren’t carrying any ballast. This in turn will make it even harder for this top 10 to get the points it needs so the ballast doesn’t hit them too hard!
Also special mention has to go to Andy_Up who finds himself in his highest place in the championship for the year in 14th place which has to be noted as he hasn’t picked up any ballast whatsoever! Well done Mucker, wonder if you can get top 10?

TOP 50 PLACINGS AFTER OCTOBER TOP 50 RIDERS POINTS ADDED:
BareRemi pulls out another point from karel_sousek with his win in this months championship, with both of these riders pulling out a bit of breathing space from joint 3rd places riders who are now 8 points back from 2nd place. But BareRemi got max ballast and karel just a little bit less so is this karels secret tactic he’s used and will now pounce for the last 2 months? Who knows, but it will definitely be fun to watch and read as the races go down!!
quite interesting to see that the 4 riders with the most ballast are at the top as well. The cream always rises to the top and i now hope some of those doubters from the beginning of the year are at least a little bit put at ease that it didn’t have a massive affect on the championship, it just kept things much tighter and also made sure everyone pushed for every single point in a championship race which was the goal behind it all in the first place.
Just 2 months to go. Who’s going to win this??

TOP 50 PLACINGS AFTER NOVEMBERS POINTS ADDED:
6 points clear at the top now for BareRemi! What a strong performance with all that Ballast! One month to go, but 19% ballast…. can you do it?? karel is still there keeping the pressure on , with VeloBuch just watching to see if any of you slip up!
But the consistency to get the points to even be in this top 50 is amazing! Remember only 1 to 50 points get given every month, (and we remove the worst score if you’ve scored every month as well) so these scores are just unreal. Also, just so you top 50 realize how good it is to just be listed below, there’s another 77 riders who have scored world championship points holding you guys up! 77!!
So, see who you’re closest rivals are and set about beating them in December! Good luck and see you before the year is out!

FINAL STANDINGS FOR 2025!
The 2025 world champion is BareRemi!!!!! Congratulations!! The rider who ended up with the most Ballast and also didn’t score any World Championship points in June, has won with a score of 465 points out of a possible 500. to have ended up with 20.5% ballast as well, you really deserve this win alongside and now have your name alongside last years first world champion Stefan_Schmidt!
karel_sousek came home a very strong 2nd and top rider who got points in every month with a very consistent campaign, then in the final podium position comes VeloBuch who after a horrible glitch a few races back, still kept hold of his place ahead of the the very strong Hans.Holm.Moeller! Since June, these 4 riders have been contesting the top 3 places every race and it was all still up for grabs
ROUVY have also been super impressed with all your efforts and have confirmed they want to reward the top 10 again like they did last year! This was only confirmed in December and why i never put anything out there as it was always up in the air what it was going to be. Here are your rewards: (ROUVY have told us the voucher codes will be ready sometime in January but we have the subscription codes already to at least send those to the top 3)
BareRemi: 1 years ROUVY subscription and 75 euro ROUVY E-SHOP credit!
karel_sousek: 1 years ROUVY subscription and 50 euro ROUVY E-SHOP credit!
VeloBuch: 1 years ROUVY subscription and 25 euro ROUVY E-SHOP credit!
Hans.Holm.Moeller: 100 euro ROUVY E-SHOP credit
Grochang: 75 euro ROUVY E-SHOP credit
m-forby: 50 euro ROUVY E-SHOP credit
Lrollin: 50 euro ROUVY E-SHOP credit
akoval: 25 euro ROUVY E-SHOP credit
przemokrk: 25 euro ROUVY E-SHOP credit
Thomas_Lyhne: 25 euro ROUVY E-SHOP credit.
How cool is that!! Thank you ROUVY for this amazing gesture and we can’t wait to send the info to these top 10 riders from the championship.
As a little something extra, we at Muckers want to offer a 5% discount to everyone whos on the list below to use in our shop. BUT!! If you got ballast this year you get more discount!!! under 10% ballast its 10% discount in total and if you got over 10% ballast we can offer you 15% discount in total on a purchase at our shop! We really wish we could offer more but the small margins we make on the items at the moment means we can only offer the above. Also you’ll be helping us keep this thing going with an purchase as every little helps. Also remember next year, the more ballast you get, the more discount you will get at the shop!!
Please email us at info@muckersworldwide.com with your user name and email address and what event you have got the code for, so we can send you the codes once we have them. We don’t have any other way to contact you other than via this blog so hopefully you all get to see this.
Thanks everyone for taking part, and remember all these names below were strong enough to be classified top 50 at least once last year and that is a tough place to get to, even if it might have just been once or twice! Every monthly championship had well over 200 riders in the GC so top 50 is a massive achievement!
Next year kicks off in January and runs the whole year. but we still only going to count your best 10 months out of the 12. please see the separate blog on 2026 rules and regs to get fully up to speed before the event starts. we also kick off with the the first months ballast being added to the top 10 above like we did for the start of 2025. everyone else will have a clean slate, but the final top 10 from this year will have the first lot of ballast added before we start! (2.5% down to 0.25%)
Thanks again everyone and hope you join us again for next year

Chuffed to get some good points on the board and take the A4 win with a bit of consistency over the 4 races getting on the podium. Nice variety of races coming up (i.e they look hard 🤣)
Nicely done!
Ye gods! I’m still on the board with a few points. Guess I need to start trying harder to keep up with all the fast gruppettos on these races, but so many good and fast riders on these rides.
Looks like I’m relative safe locked in on 15th place. With about 100 points for me to earn, the 14 above me better get some points the next month or I will pass them by december. As I see it now, the only way is UP!
im watching you and simonjp with interest! how high can you get with no ballast????? if its not top 10, i must make the ballast harder next year lol
I think this is the highest on the list I can manage. Stay, moment, you are beautiful!
hey, you never know! Don’t forget some of these riders will still have a month spare and some have already passed it! Plus we have a lot of riders returning to take those precious points away from those higher ups who have now gathered more ballast for next month!! Like ROUVY says, “keep pushing” and also do you best every race and lets the points lay where they lay! Good luck!!!
Wow thanks Neil for the special mention! I don’t see myself ending in top10. Last year I was 11th, just outside ballast, and frankly, that’s exactly how I like it! The racers in front of me I can’t beat (except occasionaly Ludwig…) so IF they start every race, there is no chance of passing them. The 4 racers behind me are WAY better than me so I might get passed also. The world championship favorites regular riders, that’s my luck as I’m more a top 30 (20 if the race really suits me) rider. I totally understand my case is interesting when it comes to ballast, happy to be of service 😉
October was my worst month (I could ride only 3x and one from those was out of main race with 0 draft), out of TOP 50. Due to second worst I stayed 19th. Goal for end of the year is TOP 20, It won’t be easy with Matthias and Mike just behind me.
No idea where I would’ve landed without the final TT race — I was sadly doomed to miss it thanks to a trip to the Faroe Islands 🌬️🐑
So I’m absolutely over the moon to be borrowing a hometrainer from a guy I didn’t even know existed a week ago. Cycling karma at its finest.
Huge thanks to Kyle, and especially Neil, for making these events amazing week after week. You’re the real engine behind an incredibly strong community.
Love and peace from here 🇩🇰❤️🙌🤟
cheers Mads and well done on the huge effort… all year and especially for the Tt!!!
Thank you all who joined us this year and special thanks to muckersworldwide.com for organizing this demanding, but awesome championship on Rouvy. While there is more leagues one can join on Rouvy nowadays, Muckers still beats others, with the best athletes on the platform and most crowded events. Let’s keep going far beyond in 2026 👍
P.S. Thank you so much for cool prizes again!
well done Karel and i am just really happy ROUVY saw the effort and commitment you guys put in and wanted to reward you all as well. Means we must be doing something right… mustn’t it…?? hopefully see you on the first round TT in 2026
Congratulations and thanks to everyone. Something ends, something begins. See you on the virtual tour next year.
exactly. we now have our targets for next year lol. lets go!!
What a nice surprise – just shows that the potato medal is absolutely also worth fighting for Karel and Niels 😁. Thanx again Kyle and Neil for organizing this great yearly competition. Really one of the best on Rouvy with a strong and – especially after Neil’s cleaning – fair competition.
And if you should ever implement the dreaded 4 w/kg max rule (really hope you put this ridiculous idea away in a very dark place very fast 😉) you will only be responsible for making us all the worst bunch of sandbaggers ready to race in pot B on Zwift 😁.
See you all on the virtual roads in 2026 👋🏻
lol Hans, the 4.0 max was a tongue in cheek comment (i wonder if that translates??) in a response to those that remark how stressful and taxing the world championship is. On one hand i feel you make it as hard or as easy as you want, its only one race a week at the end of the day. But on the other hand, i feel some riders just can’t help but go all out in every ride they do and because we have ways to comment on these things, they vent at us and i feel a responsibly to these guys to try and help. But i can’t control how people are, nor should i have to. If i could just stop empathizing with everyone, this would all be much easier lol
Thanks to all riders and great thanks to Neil and Kyle for his work. I was on every race I could join and despite I’m two times worse than last year. But I’m very satisfied with it, only much stronger riders are above me. My main goal for this year was endurance, many times before start I said myself, OK let’s go but take it easy. Those words gone to hell after start. Next year it will be probably the same story. I’ll try to do my best, but I’ll drop down in championship, as it became much popular. And this is great, you do it great!
Thank you again.
You definitely smashed the endurance goal mucker!! I also did worse this year than last but i remember commenting in February last year just how hard this felt and how many hitters we had. We had some races where everyone in the top 80/90 positions averaged over 3.0w/kg and summer never really gave those of us the advantage of less participants like it did in 2024! It was busy all year Mucker! So, with the extra bonus points for the top 3 in every category coming in next year, and the face that finishing just outside the top 50 won’t be as massive an impact as it was in 2025, we have to at least say we will improve our positions in 2026???.
Thanks, it’s always nice to be positive at the end.
So that’s the 2025 season over for Mucker1974. Not the best season, i dropped 15 places from 22nd in 2024 to 37th in 2005. Points wise i only got 132 instead of the 217 i got in 2025. Weirdly i got stronger this year, saw quite alot of improvements in FTP along the way as well but this championship just got really hard this year. So many times battling for positions outside the top 50, sometimes going all out just to be 50 something … even in the summer months! 2024 summer was where i got all my bulk points in so to even struggle in those months was not good for my overall place. Had quite a few glitches this year aswell and when you need to finish all 4 races just to have a chance of top 50 for the month, those glitches really hit hard! It almost felt like ROUVY loved to do an update on a Wednesday or Thursday and then my ipad would just say “no chance” mid race and just glitch to the ipads home screen!! So that’s all the negatives done with!!
The positives for me was learning how to get the rocket starts nailed down on the WattBike, some really good races and a year long battle with regulars in my categories. Race craft got better but was always poor when i had to switch to the iphone when the glitches were happening as you only get 3 or 4 on the nearby list and you’d never see when a pack was fracturing and always ended up in the dropped pack.
So with the revised points for all of us who are racing just outside of the top 50 an the added incentive to get top 3 in our cats (but we have to be in the top 50 placings to get the bonuses, i expect a better showing next year from myself, especially at the start of the year as i do all i can to get better, fitter, lighter for the upcoming Muckers meet up in Italy!
Thanks everyone who made the races as competitive and as fun as they were.
Many thanks to Neil and all the folks I got to ride with this year. Been a tough one for various reasons, but the Muckers crew kept me fit and helped me get through it all. Looking forward to seeing you all out there in ’26
cheers mucker. hope to race a bit with you as well in 26.
Thanks Muckers it’s been great racing with all of you for a half the year! I’ve enjoyed it and thanks for welcoming me into your community! Can’t wait for 2026 racing with y’all!!
Glad to have you with us. quite a few regular ladies now racing with us as well and hope this continues into 2026!
Great job Neil and team.. thanks for putting on all the events. Nigel
Nice one Mucker. Which Nigel are you though???
Many thanks from me too! My brain is too little to understand all these rules that contribute to the overall league table, but the Thursday races are by far the best events on rouvy. I’m looking forward to another year of heated battles with the usual suspects (somewhere in midfield, which is where all the fun happens!).
ahhhhh as if you were only midfield mucker! Lets call it upper midfield at least lol. I like to class myself as lower midfield and we both know the only time i see you is when I’m doing really well and you’re not…. that’s when we meet in the midfield 🧐😏 The good thing is you don’t have to do anything different Matthias in 2026 apart from the choice on a Tuesday. Choice one is flat out every race and see how you do in the main year long championship, or choice 2: get as close to the particular w/kg that’s been picked for that race. The w/kg target will be in brackets for the Tuesday races. You will be automatically placed into both anyway, you just get to choose what do you want to use Tuesdays for…….
Had a word with my legs and they had surprisingly strong opinions on what THEY want to use Tuesdays for. (The word “sofa” was mentioned…)
