Thank you for the privilege to be another Muckers Racer ๐
Hope all had a perfect eve. All well done in a very demanding racing group. I think more and more real professionals are attracted here, if you can put it that way. Impressive. Most impressive. ๐
Your more than welcome to part of the Muckers Worldwide team. We welcome anyone who is passionate about cycling and loves to race but is also friendly and supportive.
Neil arranges these weekend rides as a base training / heart rate zone 4 rides, but I try to do this but end up racing instead. This was.my type of ride (hill climbing) as I’m lighter than a few others on Muckers races so i have a better chance on the climbing rides.
This was a tough ride, well done to all.
I intended to ride this steady and targeted 01:50:00 time. I was successful in this plan until the big climb started, the gradients dictated my cadence as I need to keep it high to avoid running out of gears. This resulted in riders coming backwards towards me so I found myself in a race and watching the nearby rider list. Enjoyed this ride, Alps challenge has been tough and very scenic.
You found yourself in a race? Amazing ๐ (joking)
I am looking forward to Amstel on Thursday.
And I am not looking forward to Bruneck, Alps, I stilll miss this route for the Alps challenge (Tour of the Alps | HARD). It will be very painful for me again…
Good luck for Roubaix today, but not too much of it ๐๐
