The last race in my mini Brazil championship and with the top placed rider in leaderboard yet to register with 5 hours to go, we wondered if he would be on the start line??
“nelsonsnyder” decided this was his race and won quite connivingly from the strong British rider “Bling87” Both averaging over 25 mph in the process. Muckers Worldwide rider “DonJulio” claimed the third spot on the podium with a strong ride that just outsprinted the guys in 4th and 5h. was this a sign for a good night to come for the Muckers???
4th came “alfiocrist75” , closely followed by “yayarecki” in 5th. 10 seconds later came a duo of Muckers Worldwide riders with “Mick_Michel” just pipping “jeff65” on the line by 0.3 seconds!!
8th came championship leader “rouvy1bryon“, but was his 36 points enough to win? see below for the answer. 9th came “Mucker1974” who really tried again but eventually got dropped….. with the last mention going to the American “UncleE64” who came home nicely in front of 2 Muckers and a fellow American rider.
Well done everyone tonight and thank you for jumping on the race. hope you enjoyed it.

36 different riders did at least one of my Brazil races in this championship event so thank you to all who came and had a go. 2 riders did all 4 ( so it just shows you can miss one and still do well ) and only 4 riders did 3 of the 4. 5 riders did 2 races then 24 did just the 1 which I am more than happy about as well as it showed that the fact I’d created it as a mini championship, people still jumped on and did it either just because they wanted to do that race, or needed it as part of challenge which is brilliant.
Well done to “rouvy1bryon” on the win and doing all 4 races! this deffinitly paid off as 2nd place “nelsonsnyder” was only 12 points behind in 2nd and he only completed 3 races, yet did superb in all 3! “Mucker1974” rounded off the podium, mainly due to consistency from completing all 4 races.
Please see the top 20 table below to see if you got enough points to be in it!!???
cheers,

averaged 257watts and just got 9th! This was so hard tonight! so fast! i did get dropped early on but luckily Jeff65 was behind me at the start and as he came through, i jumped on his back wheel and we caught back up to the pack. i tried everything i could to hang on but it looked like i was going to be lucky to get 9th either way so i decided to just make sure i kept that place and shifted my focus onto 10th place and kept the gap to him. So another top 10 mention for me and also a 3rd place in the mini championship. totally spent after this effort and decided to zone 5 the 2nd race to give the heart and legs a rest!
Neil – thanks so much for all the work you put in for these events. All of us who participate really appreciate it!
Pace today was indeed quite hard – you did great to hang in with that gang of 7!
Thank you so much Eric, i love doing it but it also wouldn’t be possible without Kyle working hard in the back ground as well keeping this all going for me so i can just enjoy writing these blogs and organizing races!
I’m going to guess you are UncleE64??? if so, well done on the top 10 sir and thank you for taking the time to comment. cheers
Nice flat route for a change, spent too much energy early on trying to catch the slightly faster riders up front. When Neil and myself, eventually caught them,i was pretty exhausted, and was only able to get the benefit of a draft for a mile, and then got dropped.Managed to hold off Rouvy Bryon, but got pipped on the line,by Mick Michel.Great fun as always, and cheers for organising.
I don’t like flat races so I thought I’d help Swifty out and pull him round the whole race. Zone 3 for me on this as I knew inhad to put some power into the next race.
Till late afternoon I planned to to a kind of recovery ride on that route. I felt really empty. But than “someone” posted on facebook that some riders still have the chance to win that little Brazil championship. And my name was on that list. So recovery ride was no option anymore ๐
I gave all in, but the top drivers are way to powerfull. Especially Nelson and Bling… wow, respect!
Finally I ended up on place 6 in this race and 4th place in the championship. Nice for me.
Thanks to all riders and and a special thank to the ones organizing it!!
Cheers
